There’s so much more to gynecology than Pap smears and delivering babies. For the right patients, vaginal rejuvenation can help restore comfort, function, and confidence after childbirth or menopause.

My patients are always putting me on. 😄

I’ve noticed that so many of my patients approaching their 60s who look incredible all have one thing in common—they take collagen. So naturally… I said, I’m doing whatever they’re doing.

The bonus? The science supports it too, with evidence for improvements in skin hydration, elasticity, and joint health. Sometimes the best wellness tips come from the women living them. 💕

There will always be another email to answer, another chart to finish, another item on the to-do list.

But these quiet Saturday mornings? They’re fleeting.

One of the greatest gifts private practice has given me isn’t flexibility—it’s the ability to be fully present for moments that matter most. Walking the dogs, making breakfast with my daughter, and starting the weekend slowly before another busy week begins.

I’m grateful for the career I’m building, but even more grateful for the life it allows me to live.

Brain health isn’t something to think about after menopause—it starts long before.

Simple daily habits can help protect cognition and may reduce the risk of cognitive decline:
-Eat an anti-inflammatory diet
-Exercise regularly
-Keep challenging your brain by learning new skills
-Prioritize meaningful social connections

Small habits today can make a big difference tomorrow.

Which one are you focusing on this week?

Most women don’t realize there are effective treatments for vaginal laxity, discomfort, and changes after childbirth or menopause. It’s about function, confidence, and quality of life—not perfection.

POV: One acupuncture session closer to feeling like myself again.

Menopause can feel like you’re living in a body you barely recognize—hot flashes, night sweats, poor sleep, brain fog, and feeling “off.”

One treatment won’t change everything, but small steps can add up. Studies suggest that acupuncture may help reduce hot flashes and night sweats while promoting relaxation and overall well-being.

Because menopause isn’t about becoming someone new—it’s about getting back to you.

Have you tried acupuncture? What menopause symptom would you most love to leave behind? 👇

Hot flashes aren’t the only thing changing during menopause. Your bones are changing too.

The good news? Strength training, adequate calcium and vitamin D, and knowing when to get a bone density scan can make a huge difference.

Your future self will thank you.

Have you ever had a bone density scan?

Clinic is done, but the workday isn’t. 🥹 Who’s ready for the weekend? Happy Wednesday!

Menopause can increase inflammation, which may contribute to brain fog, joint aches, fatigue, and weight gain.

One simple habit? A refreshing glass of green iced tea packed with antioxidants.

What anti-inflammatory food can you not live without?

Leaving the hospital was a hard decision… but private practice gave me something I never want to take for granted… flexibility.

Not just to build a career I love, but to be present for moments that matter most.

This week, I got to watch my son represent The Bahamas and compete in his first international regatta — Opti NAMS in Halifax. I’m grateful for a career path that allows me to still show up as “Mom.”

Medicine is demanding. Motherhood is demanding.
But sometimes, you get these beautiful moments where both worlds align.

Watching him represent with confidence, discipline, and courage made every sacrifice worth it.
