Sometimes we need to remind ourselves who the f*%$ we are.
Write it down in your morning pages like I just did:
Who I’ve shown up for in my friendships
How I’ve brought beauty into the world
How I’ve survived 3 layoffs in my career and still transcended
Help others create their own thing for their own stability too
How I moved myself abroad 3 different times solo with 2 (and a half? 🥲) suitcases and my Malti-sh*tz Nala
Things like this remind me during my periods of self-doubt to keep going 🙏🏾 In some woo woo circles it’s called trust muscle exercises, but I prefer calling it “remind yourself who the f%* # you are”.
Ok now it’s YOUR TURN 🙌

My niche is wellness. My last three clients aren’t.
With the contractor I was like…what the heck do I know about roofing? I really thought about referring him to somebody else. And with the artist, as much as I love art, especially modern art, I did think to myself, maybe I should send him to a brand manager for artists.
But what the contractor actually needed was SEO, not a roofing expert. And what the artist needs is for people to find him online, not only by walking past his gallery.
So here’s pretty much what I figured out.
My niche doesn’t have to be an industry, and neither does yours. It can be how you work. For me, that’s taking what someone already has and putting it together in a way people get.
I share the whole story on Substack, plus the 5 steps I used to turn a pile of ideas into one offer. Take what you need. 😘

Me running my own business and finding out every boundary I skipped cost me money.
But I swear I’m okay 🙃
Boundaries I have now:
1. No contract, no start.
2. Two rounds of revisions included. Anything after that is extra.
3. I price by project, not by hour.
4. I charge what the work is worth, not what I guess you can pay.

Hi I’m Natasha 🙋🏾♀️ a brand strategist and chronic traveler who left the traditional path. I’m not a money expert, just someone learning a lot about money by working for myself. 😮💨Follow along for more of what I’m figuring out.
If you have a tendency to swallow your truth, let’s stop that right now. As a recovering people pleaser, the best thing I can share is to test out your NOs.
In the past, when someone would ask me if I wanted to do something that I knew deep down I didn’t want to do, I would be playing worst-case-scenario in my head. Worried a friend would be upset, worried I wouldn’t get a promotion, worried about all sorts of make believe things…
The single biggest change I made was working my NO muscle. And you know what? It got stronger and NOs became light as a feather over time. AND most responses were “ok sure no problem, thanks for letting me know.” No mean girl blow outs. No losing a client.
Saying my truth honored me and the person on the receiving end. And man, that feels good. Some of the major changes in my life lately have started with a small no.❤️
What’s one no you’ve been sitting on? Tell me below 👇

Hi, I’m Natasha. Brand strategist, chronic traveler, and someone who left the traditional path behind. I write more about self-worth and growing as a founder on my Substack 💌 Link in bio.
Today isn’t just the anniversary of 9/11. It’s also my dad’s birthday.
And it’s this strange combination…celebrating his birthdate and the life he lives and at the same time being in acknowledgment of what this day feels like collectively, knowing how many people didn’t survive. I’m sure we all think of the heroes from that day, everyone who was lost, and the loved ones they left behind.
Dad and I went on a road trip a few weeks ago through the Northeast and New England, and made sure to visit the 9/11 Memorial first. It’s crazy to think it’s been 25 years, and yet the memories of watching it happen, and the helplessness, still feel so visceral.
With love to the families. May we never forget. ❤️

Some seratonin sweeties from recent travels ✨~ that’s all
I used to think I had commitment issues. ❤️🩹
But I’m not meant to be one thing, and I’m attracted to unfinished pieces and things in their beginning stages.
I’m a Manifesting Generator (3/5) so in terms of business I looove to initiate, and carry your brand through its build, all the way until it’s working. That’s where I’m the best version of myself, for you. 🙏🏾
It’s exactly why I love the inception phase of a brand. Helping you find your identity, your voice, and who you’re actually for.
Once you’re up and running, my part is done. And when you’re ready for what’s next, I’ll point you toward the right person for that.
If you’re just getting started, or you’re an established brand about to launch something new, that’s the phase I help you in.
Comment BUILD and I’ll send you the self-paced guide I created for your beginning stages.

Kinda unhinged to have zero clue what you’re doing and start the business anyway. 🤪
If you’re like me, you jump right into the deep end and figure it out along the way. If you’re more of a planner, you map it out first, less mess, but sometimes more stuck waiting for it to feel ready. Neither way is wrong.
You will make mistakes either way. That’s not the part to be afraid of.
If you’re in the messy middle and want a second set of eyes on your brand, book a Single Strategy Session, link in bio. 🤍
