Sourdough bread bag production day. Getting our inventory ready for Yellowstone Alliance Adventures Harvest Festival this Saturday! We have a few new patterns. All of these are hand cut, sewn by hand and then individually coated. Perfectly imperfect and we wouldn’t have it any other way
Work smarter not harder. Right? For YEARS I’ve printed our labels at home, and hand cut each and every one of them. I decided to save not only paper and ink, but my hours I spent doing that instead of knitting or making any other of our products. These arrived yesterday and I love them. They look so professional, and better yet- no deciphering my chicken scratch handwriting. What do you guys think? Seal of approval?
The 6th annual Harvest Festival is this Saturday! Time flies! Come on down with the whole family and enjoy hay rides, climbing wall, kids activities, and lots of amazing vendors. Will we see you there? Yellowstone Alliance Adventures | Camp & Retreat Center
"You guys do A LOT!" We hear that a lot. We produce a lot here on the farm and this isn't even half of what he have available. My goal has always been to take in animals that need a home and to be able to care for them. My husband always told me I can bring home whatever I can feed and take care of. Me being, well, me, decided that I can do things that can bring in income to pay for their care and feed.
ALL OF THIS, I do for the animals. When Nala needed surgery at 2 weeks old, it was covered, when Tiny Tim needed an emergency vet to come out and take care of a blockage, this took care of it. I have never been one to ask for handouts or to beg for help. I will find a way to make sure everyone has hay for the year, and money set aside in case someone needs vet care. The more animals we took in, the more creative I had to get.
When you see me out there selling my hats, my wraps and anything else, it's all for them. They deserve to be in a stable home that can provide for them. Stay tuned for a "Meet the animals on the Ark" post and learn all about them and how they came to be here.
