Hi friends! You may have noticed my business card says “text, don’t call,” I want to explain why.

It’s not about phone anxiety (though I do have that). It’s about clarity. When I text you “your appointment is at 11,” I need you to actually see “11,” not mishear “7” over the phone.

Here’s exactly what happened: I said, “See you at 2, then.” The client heard 2:30 and showed up at 2:30, then cussed out my coworker for the mix-up.
I wasn’t planning on being there past 1:30 and stayed past my time to be off. I assumed you were not coming when you didn’t show up at 2 and wasn’t there by 2:20. I wish we could have talked about it rather than what happened, but I’m not going to get cussed at, so this is what you get.

So going forward: let’s stick to texting or online booking. If you do call, please double-check your appointment reminder for the correct time.
When you cuss at my coworkers, your number gets blocked from booking, we don’t treat people like that. Thanks for understanding!
