Bubby's Wood Toys

The Mad River Valley, as it is know, is composed of four towns and home to
many small shops , three ski areas and historic covered bridges. It was while I was in high school, inspired by
my wood shop teacher, that I became interested in woodworking. Each of my toys is individually created from various hardwoods - no two are exactly the same. They are treated with butcher block oil to protect and bring out the natural beauty of the wood. They are constructed with glue and dowels to give them strength without the use of screws, nails or other metal fasteners. Like any toy they come without batteries, but unlike the others, these toys don't need them. They come ready for play, and best of all, they're made in the USA.
