What do I ask for to tell my hairstylist ?
Is the most common question I got for this video on my Tik Tok - they loved it there ๐ซถ๐ป
Firstly to answer the question, Why was her before so gold?
Unfortunately she wasnโt lifted to the palest yellow / lightest level. Which every stylist is different but this beautiful hair lifted to a level 10 with mostly 13vol! 20vol on last sections ( hairdressing talk).
Then we open painted her ends while foils were on for 20mins with freehand clay!
Bleach on bleach is not for every hair type but we safely did section by section & I watched it closely!
Then a quick violet toner on mids to even out some tones we will correct over the next few colours.
We kept her foils fine for a soft grow out & working with natural for contrast!
๐ ALSO OLD blonde ends ALL can do this with time from product build up or hard water. But itโs fixable & I recommend a bleach on bleach at least once a year to keep it bright ! .
๐ชฎ๐ฌ - Now asking your hairdresser sometimes isnโt going to get you the result.. They need to know your hair health , product history & simply techniques like myself use.
I just say look for someone that is talking about lifting you the lightest blonde possible/ safety & sharing their work. Communication is key & sometimes itโs not possible for your hair too but thatโs something that is talked about with yourself & hairstylist. Their is always a solution / best option for your hair & your goals too so donโt give up & itโs allll about knowledge ๐ซถ๐ป๐ค

9 +months without colour ! Worth the wait for this transformation ๐๐ผ grateful for people trusting me to completely change their hair !
Working on hair health is a must here so we took it gentle but so lucky with the lift today !
Lifting the blonde as long as safely possible & fine even saturation with the bleach is key to getting a light lift with dark natural hair.

One of my favourite transformations Iโve done I must say ๐
This is natural hair so it definitely makes lightening more possible to get this level of lift.
Iโm always making sure the hair is healthy enough to be able to do this , in this case it was ๐ซถ๐ป๐๐ผ
If you want foils that grow out nice , it has to take time while getting the put in.
As I said in the video beauty takes time !
But itโs worth it ๐ค๐ผ

How I achieved this result . Itโs not for the fast paced colour sessions - this alone took nearly 3 hours to foil !
I put in the time so the future colours are easier & your hair is beautiful for longer ๐ซถ๐ป
We had to foil around different hair tones & didnโt want any damage to be done with bleach on bleach .
We are so happy with the first session & it will only get better from here ๐๐ผ
