Choose a Hair & Scalp Analysis if you are experiencing hair loss, thinning, unusual shedding, recurring flaking, itching, tenderness or other persistent scalp changes.

Consultations are required for new loc installations, microlocs transfers, colour services and hair transitions.

What actually happens during a Hair & Scalp Analysis? 🔍

Before recommending products, treatments or services, we begin by understanding your concerns and observing what is visible.

During your appointment, we may discuss:

• Changes you have noticed
• Your hair, scalp and relevant health history
• Current products and routines
• Cleansing and styling practices
• Previous chemical or mechanical stress

We then observe the condition of the hair and scalp, including visible changes in density, distribution patterns, shedding, thinning, breakage and areas requiring closer attention.

From there, the appropriate next step may include supportive salon care, changes to your home-care routine, monitoring or referral to a doctor or dermatologist.

A Hair & Scalp Analysis is not a medical diagnosis. It is a professional starting point for replacing guesswork with informed action.

Chemical straightening changes the hair’s structure, but it does not make scalp health optional.

Before your next touch-up, pay attention to:

• Persistent burning, tenderness or irritation
• Recurring flakes, sores or inflammation
• Thinning around the hairline or part
• Breakage that continues to return

Applying relaxer over a scratched, irritated or inflamed scalp may increase discomfort and damage. Pain is not proof that the relaxer is “working.”

If symptoms or unexplained breakage keep returning, pause the chemical service and seek appropriate professional guidance.
