🍂 It’s lash shedding season! 🍂

Just like the seasons change, our natural lash cycles can too — and you may notice a little more shedding than usual this time of year. That doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong with your extensions!

This is also a great time to reset your lashes. If you’re someone who struggles with seasonal allergies, itchy or irritated eyes, or you’ve been wearing extensions consistently, consider a professional removal and a little lash break before starting with a fresh new set. 🤍

And look at those natural lashes after removal. 👏🏼 Healthy, full and exactly what we want to see.

A fresh start is always recommended over continuing to fill a set that needs a reset.

I’m so excited to be the first lash artist in Vermont to bring this system to my clients!

NuLIDS provides a deeper clean of the lids + lash line, helping remove debris, buildup and stubborn collarettes that a regular lash bath may not fully address. It’s especially great for clients who struggle with seasonal allergies, irritated or inflamed lids, dry-eye symptoms or persistent lash-line buildup.

Perfect before a fresh full set or as an add-on to your regular lash appointment. 🫧

I’m always looking for ways to improve not only your extensions, but the health and cleanliness of what’s underneath them.

Holiday season is right around the corner

With wedding season winding down, new services coming to The Facial Edit, and more days opening up at my Newport location, I wanted to give everyone a little scheduling update!

Moving forward, I’ll be limiting my schedule to 6–7 clients per day. This allows me to spread appointments out throughout the week, offer more days and times for my clients, and most importantly, continue giving each appointment the time and attention it deserves without burning myself out.

With the holidays approaching, pre-booking is highly recommended. I also have the option to set up a repeat schedule, which so many of my regulars have been taking advantage of. A lot of you already have your appointments scheduled through the first of the new year, making it easy to keep the days and times that work best for you.

Lots of exciting changes happening at The Facial Edit, and I’m looking forward to a schedule that allows me to continue growing while taking the best care of all of you. 🤍

Now that all of my regulars are aware, I can finally share that there are some big changes happening for my Derby location. 🫶🏼

A little full circle moment for The Facial Edit.

I spent almost 4 years at my very first location, and now I’m heading back home to where so much of this journey began.

The owner of the salon is family, and the older I get, the more I realize just how much family means to me. Life, business, and I have all grown so much since those first years, and somehow coming back now just feels right.

A familiar place, a new chapter, and lots of growth ahead for The Facial Edit. October is going to be a busy month — full body waxing will officially be added to my services, and I’ll also be heading to Ohio for even more lash training with some of the best in the industry.

And to my clients — thank you. So many of you have been with me since day one, when I first moved home and wasn’t even sure if Vermont was the place to build a lash business. Seven years later, I think it’s safe to say I made the right choice.

I’m so incredibly grateful for every person who has sat in my lash bed, supported my business, shared my work, referred a friend, or simply continued to choose me year after year.

Here’s to coming home, continuing to learn, and everything ahead for The Facial Edit. 🫶🏼
