It started with lines being accidentally cut, then lightning frying our hardware and one carrier not wanting to port our number over to another. When this client sat down I was shocked, her ends were neon blorange (blonde/orange) with a weird green cast in some light. The pictures are completely unedited, it was legit that color. When she left her last appointment in March her hair was a gorgeous light bright blonde. We see a good bit of discoloration on blonde clients because Alabama water is chocked full of minerals and metals, but I have never seen anything this extreme. I had to double up on treatments, first L’oréal metal detox then Olaplex chelating treatment. I was worried that wouldn’t get all of the buildup off, but sure enough after 5 hours and a full highlight she was light blonde again. She went home with the full Metal Detox line to protect her hair at home and she is getting a water filter for her bah.
