Happy Day 🧖🏽‍♀️ time to talk about one of my favorite treatments: DERMAPLANING. 🥳
This is an incredible non-invasive procedure that uses a medical scalpel held at a 45 degree angle to exfoliate your skin and remove vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). Dermaplaning is safe for most clients with little to no side effects when performed properly. It provides not only a beautiful glow, but increases the ability for your products to pe*****te deeper into the skin and makeup to go on more smoothly as well! ✨

?? who is Dermaplaning good for?
Clients concerned with:
- Acne scars
- Dull or dry skin
- Photodamaged skin
- Fine lines or wrinkles
- Peach fuzz
- Aging skin

How often can you receive Dermaplaning?
- This treatment can be performed once a month, and a chemical peel can be added after the procedure for a boosted treatment!

What should I expect?
- You shouldn’t feel any pain or discomfort during a Dermaplane treatment
- You may feel some slight tingling sensations

What should I expect after?
- No time is needed to plan for recovery after Dermaplaning
- You may experience slight redness or feel a slight increase in sensitivities for 2-3 days
- Results can last up to a month

I’ve noticed lately with the change of season more and more clients coming in with the small flesh colored and or light white bumps all over typically forehead or cheeks brow line, and here is what I would suggest they use :

Morning

1. Gentle cleanser
2. Lightweight moisturizer
3. SPF 30–50

Night

1. Cleanser
2. 2% salicylic acid — start 2–3 nights/week
3. Moisturizer

If after 6–8 weeks they’re still there, I’d consider adding a retinoid on alternate nights rather than increasing exfoliation
