Happy Friday everyone! We made it! 🎉

It has been a weekend of gorgeous spring weather here in Phoenix. Palo verdes are exploding with yellow blooms. Little orange and yellow wildflowers are making their last show. All our windows are open. Sunny breezy hikes have been had.

Knowing hot temperatures are just around the corner makes me that much more grateful for such a beautiful weekend.

This little rainbow of happy sums up the weekend mood. 🥰

Excited to share the makeover to LATHRStudio's labels and packaging! It was time for something simpler, sleeker and more giftable. After all, every soap is a little present!

I just re-read 'The Secret Life of Bees' and now anything resembling a honeycomb jumps out at me... and makes me hungry! I've never tried honeycomb before, but how can it not be delicious, right? 🐝

While these Lavender Rosemary Turmeric bars don't have any honey in them, they sure are pretty lined up all honeycomb-like. 😊

Beach Pebble Soap

These are milled soaps made from extra soap bits (if you hate waste like me, this is a very satisfying process). I wasn't expecting it, but the flecks and spots in the soap came out looking like warm, smooth pebbles. Very understated and natural, I love it.

When you mill soap, it's already gone through the curing process, and the lye is no longer harsh on fragile ingredients. I took that opportunity to add some local raw honey and colloidal oats to boost these soaps' skin benefits up a notch. These came out smelling like a blend of lavender and rosemary with the sweetness of honey. Yum. 😊

But drama ends there with its relaxing lavender and eucalyptus essential oils 😌

Speaking of relaxing scents, scent has always been a important sense to me - the most powerful trigger of nostalgia, a reminder of the seasons (mmm, buttery firewood smell), a signature perfume that reminds you of someone...
