Stopped by and visited our friends at Black Birch Books ✨They are really seeing an increased usage of their food pantry and could especially use more Low Sodium Spam and granola/snack bars. They get a lot of bulk, shelf stable food which is always great but some of the easy to eat, already prepared foods are really a saving grace for people who may not have the means to cook from scratch. That being said 👀 I had an idea on how to use some of the more slow moving base ingredient items so keep your eyes peeled this winter on how you can contribute to those in need 💚

A few little vessels I picked up over the weekend during my trip to Phoenix 👀😍 We obviously wanted to do a little shopping while we had the chance and I just knew these had to come back to Alaska with me for candles!

The white bowls with gold trim are timeless and would be beautiful for the holidays but also work well aesthetically for year round themes.

The bakeware pieces IMMEDIATELY gave me “pie” vibes and I’m hoping someone may be interested in an apple, pumpkin, or pecan pie candle!

A little about me- I’m the owner and creator behind Silver Birch and our products 😌 the Silver Birch (aka Weeping Birch) is a very important tree and symbol in Celtic folklore and is widely known as one of the most resilient tree species. It’s quite often the first tree to grow back after fires and is personified by “The Lady of the Woods”, who embodies light, renewal, and rebirth ✨ I chose this because I truly feel it best represents me and my journey as well as what I want my customers to experience; the healing and happiness in the face of adversity, the feeling of joy and whimsy and light for no other reason than being alive and able to feel those things, the nourishment of our bodies and souls because we are worth it. We offer an array of products to help facilitate this from candles and bath bombs to herbs and crystals. I pride myself in having a little something for everyone- although our Brick & Mortar is very feminine in aesthetic and energy, I carry items for all ages and genders and heavily focus on locally sourced materials whenever possible. I also prioritize ethics when it comes to business decisions, networking, and sourcing materials/goods. I handcraft all of the jewelry in the shop as well as the wax products.
