October is always one of our favorite months in the salon. The hair gets a little richer, the routines shift, and everyone starts thinking about the holidays before we’re quite ready to admit it. 😉

So, hello October.

A few things I’ve been loving lately…

☕️ Current obsession: a scoop of vanilla protein collagen peptides in my morning coffee.

That last one has officially become part of the routine. 😂

Nothing fancy. Just a few things that have been making this month a little better.

What’s been a favorite of yours lately?

Anyone else feel like September just started and somehow we’re already at the end of it? 😅

The mornings are cooler, the calendar is filling up, and suddenly everyone is talking about October.

Around here, we’re easing into the next season one haircut, color appointment, and coffee/tea at a time. ☕️

And honestly… we're okay with that.

Time to Transition Your Haircare

Your hair has been through a LOT this summer — sun, humidity, swimming, heat styling… all the things.

But you don't necessarily need to overhaul your entire haircare routine overnight.

Start by gradually shifting toward more moisture, repair and protection as the weather starts to change.

A few things to think about:

💧 Add moisture. If your hair is feeling dry or rough, it's probably time to bring a more moisturizing shampoo, conditioner or treatment into your routine.

✨ Keep your color fresh. A gloss can add shine, refresh your tone and make summer-faded color look beautiful again without committing to a major color change.

🔥 Keep protecting your hair. Cooler weather doesn't mean you can forget about heat protection! If you're using your dryer, curling iron or flat iron, keep that protection in your routine.

And, as always, we can help you figure out what your hair actually needs right now. Your summer hair and your fall hair may not need exactly the same products.

Whether you've been with us for years or you're newer to the salon, we're so grateful you choose to spend your time with us. We know there are plenty of places you could go to get your hair done, and it means a lot that you choose us.

We genuinely love what we do, but getting to know all of you, catching up on your lives, laughing with you and being part of all the different seasons you're going through is what makes this job so special.

We're excited for what's ahead and feeling pretty grateful to be doing it together.

I know. It feels WAY too early to be talking about the holidays.

But it isn't. 😂
